Woodland Supports Local Charity and Rugby Tour

Every year, Woodland Hospital supports and raises money for a local charity. This week, Woodland staff voted for Johnnys Happy Place  , a welcoming weekend cafe for those suffering with their mental health. (Keystone, 97 Rockingham Rd, Kettering, NN16 9HX. Sat 10-4 Sun 11-2)If you are having a tough time for one reason or another , experiencing anxiety, depression or just feel isolated, please pop along to this beautiful café, open at weekends only. The staff raised £163 for the charity from the Nurses Day raffle.

Woodland Hospital also supportted Kettering Rugby Football Club Under 9's on their "Easter Tour" at Hemsby, Norfolk. The mighty "blues" travelled on mass for a weekend of rugby, fun and adventure on and off the pitch. Around 140 local boys and girls , with their parents in tow, from Under 6's to Under 16's took part in the Easter Tour. Woodland Hospital provided our local juniors team with sponsorship in the form of hoodies and medals!
