As well as general MSK imaging, he routinely performs diagnostic expertise for sports, rheumatology, spine and tumour imaging. He can perform image guided bone and soft tissue biopsy and performs all image guided injections. Dr Shah performs ultrasound and image guided procedures on a weekly basis and read X-rays, CTs and MRIs daily. During his Radiology training in Leicester, he undertook a visiting MSK fellowship at the world-renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. He went on and completed a full MSK fellowship at a tertiary bone tumour centre, the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. Working at these specialist orthopaedic and tumour centres allowed him to fine tune his skills and expertise in MSK Radiology. He is continually learning and keeping abreast with current evidence-based medicine and literature. He contributes actively to the advancement of MSK imaging with regular peer reviewed publications and taking part in educational activities. He cherishes the moments he gets with my young family, who like to keep him on his toes. Unfortunately, this has taken a toll on his hair! He loves unwinding to music and exercising his mind and body. He is not a keen chef…but he does love eating!
