Mrs Jo Ablett - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Jo graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University and went onto work in the NHS gaining a solid clinical background within all physiotherapy specialties. Jo then joined the Woodland Hospital Physio Team in 2013 where she continues to provide physiotherapy rehabilitation for patients following orthopaedic, spinal and gynaecological surgery. Jo has undertaken further studies in Pilates, Acupuncture and Pelvic Health and offers specialist assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, musculoskeletal pain in pregnancy, and rehabilitation postnatal and following gynaecological surgery. 

Outside of work Jo is a self-proclaimed ‘DIY Queen’ and busy Mum of 2. She enjoys cooking, gardening and adventures in the great outdoors with her family alongside her furry Best friend – Betsy the Cockapoo!


Mr Jaba Aruldoss - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Jabaraj Aruldoss qualified in 2006 from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR University. He started his carrier with Apollo Multi Specialty Hospital, India where he worked for 2 years in various specialties.  Between 2008 and 2018 he has worked in various hospitals and Universities in both India and the United Kingdom namely Manchester Royal Infirmary NHS Trust and Spencer Wing Orthopaedic Hospital East Kent Trust.  He has also lectured in Physiotherapy at Sri Balance College of Physiotherapy.  Currently he works full time as a senior Physiotherapist in the NHS alongside his work here at the Woodland Hospital where Jaba has been a member of our team for the past 18 months working in both our inpatients and outpatients units.  Alongside his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Jaba also holds a Masters of Psychology, Masters of Business Administration and a Post-graduate diploma in Yoga, Pranic Healing and Pilates.

Outside of work Jaba enjoys visiting family and Pranic Healing.


Mrs Katie Beaumont - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Graduated from Cardiff University with Bsc Hons Physiotherapy in 1999, having previously gained a Physiology degree from Newcastle University in 1996.  Has worked in a wide variety of NHS and private hospitals, and spent the first few years post qualification specialising in paediatrics, before settling in musculoskeletal outpatients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, for the next 10 years.  After leaving London I continued my outpatient career part time at Northampton General, and then onto occupational health as an in-house physiotherapist for one of the leading supermarket chains.   I have been working on the bank for the Woodland Hospital since January 2018.

Outside work Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying great food and exercise in all forms – tennis, skiing and hiking in the mountains, and to attempting to surf in the more sunny climes!


Miss Charlie Buckerfield - Physiotherapy

Charlie has a passion for service development and education, she enjoys sharing her knowledge to help others learn. “It’s great to see our students develop during their placements and it’s been wonderful seeing some of them return to the hospital as physiotherapists”.

Academic Background

Charlie graduated from the University of Leicester in 2016; her passion for learning continued and she decided to study for her Masters degree in Manual Therapy at Coventry University.

Charlie began her career in the NHS before transitioning into the private sector. At the Woodlands Charlie works in clinics, on the ward and manages the exercise classes for joint replacements. She has qualifications in acupuncture and mentoring and is always eager to develop further. 

It’s very important for me to keep fit; I absolutely love dancing with my friends at the Jane Tyler School of Dancing and Beat Project Dance Company where I participate in tap, stage, ballet and street dance classes. In any other spare time you might catch me running or walking my beautiful Shih-tzu Macie! Most of all I enjoy travelling and exploring the world, especially snowboarding in the mountains, my favourite resort is Jackson Hole in Wyoming, USA.


Miss Jenifer Cernik - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Experience of working in local NHS trusts and private practice progressing to management level.

Passionate about all things pelvic health and supporting women through different times of their life whilst leading and developing the Physiotherapy service at the Woodland Hospital.

Enjoys festivals, singing and spending time with her family holidaying.


Miss Victoria Corda - Physiotherapy

Lower Back Pain and Neck Pain

Background: Victoria has been working in healthcare for over 25 years. She qualified as a Physiotherapist 18 years ago and has worked in the NHS, Private Hospitals and Private Clinics. She also has been the Physiotherapist for both County and International Sports Teams.

In her spare time, Victoria loves to hill walk in the Lake District with her beautiful, robust but stubborn Miniature Daschund, Molly.

Miss Stephanie Dear - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Steph qualified in 2010 from Kings College London when she joined National One side Cambridge Rugby Union football club.  She was promoted to be the head physiotherapist for Cambridge RUFC a position held for 4 years alongside her head physiotherapist role for Eastern Counties RUFC.  After a season then as head of medical at Bury St. Edmunds RUFC, Steph was appointed physiotherapist with England Touch Rugby for which she is about to enter her 3rd consecutive season. Steph has also worked with football teams including Newport County, and for a Nike Academy event at St. George’s Park.  In 2017 she was appointed lead physiotherapist for Deaflympics GB, heading up the physiotherapy cover for the Deaflympics competition in Samsun where GB collected their highest medal total to date. In 2018 Steph worked at the Winter Olympics. 

Outside of work Steph enjoys taking part in charitable fitness challenges.


Mr Aidan Ginns - Physiotherapy

Orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation and massage. Interested in the joint and surrounding structures of the lower limb in particular the knee.

Academic Background

Aidan is a first class honours graduate from the University of Leicester with clinical experience in orthopaedics, trauma, general medicine, cardiorespiratory and community based physiotherapy in the NHS. Aidan additionally has Neurological physiotherapy experience with the Military of Defence and is a qualified sports masseuse with an interest in pre-performance and pitch side massage.   

Aidan enjoys staying fit and healthy by participating in football and going to the gym, but enjoys any type of physical activity. He likes to travel and gain new experiences whilst meeting different people along the way.


Mr Anti Kotsi - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Anti qualified in 2014 from TEI of Patras in Greece. Anti started his physiotherapy career as a rotational Physiotherapist in University hospital of Heraklion. Anti also worked for a short time with the Hersonissos Football Club in Greece. Anti then moved to the UK and worked as a Physiotherapist in community providing hydrotherapy, elderly rehabilitation and neurological physiotherapy. Since 2020, Anti has been working as an inpatient and outpatient physiotherapist at Woodland Hospital.

In his free time, Anti enjoys going to gym, running, reading books and meeting friends


Mr Mandeep Phull - Physiotherapy

I am a senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 12 years of clinical experience.

I am keen follower of various sports and have had my fair share of injuries during my time of playing amateur Basket Ball which is how got into Physiotherapy in the first place.

A particular area of interest for me is lower limb injuries.

Outside of Physiotherapy world, I am a keen gamer and love to spend my evenings on PlayStation.
